O’Shea, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Gregory Vreeland, Springbrook, Wisconsin, was sentenced yesterday by Chief U.S. District Judge James D. Peterson to one year and one day in federal prison for failure to pay employment taxes. Vreeland pleaded guilty to this charge on April 18, 2024. Vreeland paid $684,469 to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in unpaid taxes prior to entering a guilty plea in the case.
