Glenogra House renowned for Bed and Breakfast and guest accommodation is situated in Dublin 4  opposite the Four Seasons Hotel in Ballsbridge - (Dublin´s most exclusive area) and near  RDS Exhibition Centre. Glenogra House is a 19th Century redbrick house and has been transformed into a luxurious base for recreational and business travellers alike. Within easy walking distance you will find a cosmopolitan blend of traditional, European and ethnic restaurants as well as a couple of pubs you might like to sample.

Just 10 minutes from the city centre it makes an ideal starting point for visitors to Trinity College, UCD, the Guinness Storehouse, the O2 venue, The Dublin Convention Centre and Croke Park.

Just across the road you’ll find the RDS Exhibition Centre and The Four Season's Hotel, and close by The American and British Embassies, the Aviva Stadium on Lansdowne Road, University College Dublin, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Elm Park golf and tennis club, Blackrock Clinic, AIB and Bank of Ireland headquarters.

Dublin Port and Dun Laoghaire Port are a short drive from Glenogra.

Try a change of pace by experiencing the thrill of horse racing at Leopardstown, or the tranquillity of a walk on Sandymount beach in Dublin bay or a nearby park, or visit the port and marina in Dun Laoghaire.

The DART rail service serves Sandymount Station, just around the corner,  and allows for easy travel across the city and connects to the mainline railway and Luas at Connolly Station and central bus station.

The frequent Aircoach service (every 15 mins at peak times) stops 150 metres from Glenogra and makes travelling to and from Dublin Airport relaxed and hassle free-it stops at a few hotels en-route. This service travels 24 hours and serves Aer Lingus, Ryanair, American Airlines, Delta and all other flights.

James Joyce´s former home in Sandycove is a 20 minute dart ride away, and located throughout the city are the former haunts of Samuel Beckett, Oscar Wilde, Brendan Behan, Jonathan Swift and many of Ireland´s other great writers.

St. Patrick´s Cathedral, founded in 1191, where the first performance of Handel´s Messiah occurred, is another great sight; as is Christ Church cathedral founded 1171, and the Book of Kells in Trinity College.
