On the 7th December, Campus Residences Ltd hosted a Conference Showcase in the Nursing School to discuss the merits of holding such a conference. The event highlighted the role of the Conference Office on campus. The Nursing School was suitably bedecked with a Christmas theme, including lighting, canapés and Christmas themed flowers.
Following networking among colleagues and members of the conference team, Brian MacCraith opened the event highlighting the positive publicity which a conference can bring to a department and to the University, while David Doyle from the Conference Office in Campus Residences Limited advised of the support which their office can offer, including catering and accommodation to registration. He described the office as ‘a one stop shop’ and reiterated it does not charge anything for its services.
