Rail and Bus

The DART rail service serves Sandymount Station, just around the corner, and allows for easy travel across the city and connects to the mainline railway and Luas at Connolly Station and central bus station.The city centre is easily reached by the frequent bus service nos. 4,7 or 8 which stop close to Glenogra.

Dublin Port and Dun Laoghaire Port are a short drive from Glenogra.

Airport Transfers- Dublin Airport

The Greystones Aircoach Route 702 and Dalkey Aircoach Route 703 buses located outside the airport's arrival hall  travels every 30 minutes through Ballsbridge and stop 200 metres from Glenogra.  The buses travel 24 hours a day and serves Aer Lingus, Ryanair, American Airlines, Delta and all other flights.

The Leopards town Aircoach service (every 15 mins at peak times) stops in Donnybrook about a 15 minute walk from Glenogra and makes travelling to and from Dublin Airport relaxed and hassle free.

Places of Interest
James Joyce´s former home in Sandycove is a 20 minute dart ride away, and located throughout the city are the former haunts of Samuel Beckett, Oscar Wilde, Brendan Behan, Jonathan Swift and many of Ireland´s other great writers.

St. Patrick´s Cathedral, founded in 1191, where the first performance of Handel´s Messiah occurred, is another great sight; as is Christ Church cathedral founded 1171, and the Book of Kells, a 9th-century gospel manuscript famous throughout the world, is displayed in Trinity College.
